For adults • 90 minutes
Category: Facilitation, Pre-Mindcamp
Wednesday 9:00am • Newnham Campus
Time and location subject to change (what isn't?)

Getting beyond obvious ideas and the obvious understanding of the world around us is essential for creating breakthroughs and for deepening connection. We will explore how the power of metaphor, analogy, fantasy and other techniques for "making meaning" are leveraged in Synectics' frameworks, tools, and models.

The Skinny: 3 things you will do in this session

  • Gain deeper insight and understanding — with tools for "making the strange familiar”
  • Spur new connections — with tools for "making the familiar strange”
  • Create meaning from absurdity to create true breakthrough
