Harness your signature strengths with mindfulness to become a powerful climate warrior

Mind U sessionNo matter where you are in the evolution of your relationship to Mother Earth and climate activism, this workshop will help you take it to the next level that is authentic for you. Mindfulness, authentic use of character strengths and connection to nature lead to personal well-being and positive regard towards the planet. In this workshop, you will learn to combine the practice of mindfulness with your signature character strengths to build personal well-being and a deeper connection to nature.

- Focus on the authentic character strengths you bring to any challenge
- Discover the connection between mindfulness and a deeper connection with nature and in your relationships with others
- Create a proactive action plan toward climate action/warriorship that is in line with your values, strengths, and passions
Megan MitchellMegan Mitchell is a consultant, speaker, author and educator. She is an Innovation and Leadership Consultant and the Program Director for Schulich’s Centre of Excellence in Innovation.
Megan believes in soaking up every opportunity to grow. She spent nearly 20 years in Innovation, Leadership, Marketing and Sales, including 13 inspiring years at Mindcamp. She recently completed her Certificate in Positive Psychology. Megan believes we are all creative; her passion is to help people discover their unique gifts and ways of contributing for greater business success and personal fulfillment.
When not traveling, Megan loves hosting salons, walking around her neighbourhood, getting her hands dirty in the garden or creating in stained glass.

Patrick TrombettaPatrick combines the practices of Mindfulness and Character Strengths, with Nature Connectedness, to develop authentic advocates for the protection of our environment and the non-human living world. His journey of self-actualization and spiritual growth led him to mindfulness, meditation, and the science of virtues/character strengths. He now coaches and facilitates workshops for teams and leaders. His contemplative practices led him to a deep and heartfelt desire to nurture and protect the natural world. He is active in The Climate Reality and The Climate Mobilization, environmental groups focused on education and activism. He co-founded the Cary, NC Green Energy Coalition, an advocacy group encouraging the community to transition to a sustainable model. Before returning to his first love of psychology, Patrick earned his MBA at Harvard University and led sales teams in the medical device industry for 20 years.
This is Patrick's first year presenting at Mindcamp.
