Mindcamp Choice Session Description
A hero's journey through a landscape of possibility — expect the unexpected
(Matteo Catullo, Tim Hurson)
Mind U sessionGet ready for an adventure! A journey beyond the borders of the known world. An ancient quest to places both utterly strange and strangely familiar. An odyssey of choices, challenges, and dreams.
Before departing, you will carefully select tools, supplies, and skills for your backpack. You will not be alone. You will have a guide, a personal oracle who knows you better than you know yourself, whose wisdom is profound and whose truth is clear.
On your return, you will see how the insights you have earned connect to your personal life, your work life, and your place in the world.
Your passport will be your registration to Mindcamp Choice. You will then receive a list of simple resources to prepare in advance. If you have the courage to join us you are welcome.
The Skinny: 3 things you will do in this session
- Experience challenge, confusion and success in encountering and solving problems
- Experience the true nature of the hero's journey, both the quest and the return
- See yourself and the context in which you exist in a new and productive way

Tim HursonTim helps organizations and individuals think more productively. His experience is the basis for the principles and tools in his book: Think Better.
Tim speaks around the world about how to develop creative leadership to manage change rather than be swamped by it, and has guest lectured in business schools in the US, Canada, UK, Mexico, Chile, and Australia. He is a founding director of Mindcamp and father to four wonderful human beings, Emily, Branwen, Peter, and Max, and grandfather of Joseph.
Tim thinks the phrase “out of the box thinking” should be put back in the box and buried in a deep hole.
