First Mystery Mindcamp: Amazing!

Yeah we did it. On March 2, Mystery Mindcamp brought together about 40 members of the creative community for — well, they didn’t know until they arrived!

What it turned out to be was an opera flashmob in a busy indoor shopping mall. In the course of about 90 minutes, Maestro Álvaro Lozano Gutiérrez of Opera for All turned about forty surprised and delighted Mystery Mindcampers into an opera chorus, who then trotted over to Eaton Centre to serenade shoppers with Offenbach’s Barcarolle.

In the words of Mindcamper Kaz Ogino, it was “truly an edge-walking, boundary-busting experience”, but as she is a visual artist perhaps it will be more expressive to see her artistic impression of the event:
