Mindcamp Creativity Weekend
Youth Program

The Mindcamp Creativity Weekend includes a youth program for young people ages 10-17! This 3-day program prepares young people to think, act and reflect creatively, inspiring them to become leaders within their schools and communities.

Led by experiential educators and creativity practitioners, the program will inspire youth to:

• Expand their imagination, curiosity, and creative thinking
• Develop problem-solving and decision-making skills
• Facilitate and lead group activities
• Build trust and take responsibility
• Experience the benefits of collaborating with peers
• Increase effective communication skills
• Have fun in an active outdoor setting

Youth participants will be divided up into two smaller groups of up to ten based on age. Each group will have an anchor facilitator for the duration who will help participants integrate their learning.

Enrollment is extremely limited. We can accommodate 10 kids in the Junior (10-13 year old) section and 10 in the Senior (14-16 year old) section.

Program Details:

• Registration Fee: $262.50 CDN (includes registration, 3 nights accommodation, meals and GST)
• Youth program registration deadline: August 24
• Space is limited to 20 youth ages 10-17 years old
• Accommodations are separate from parents’ rooms: youth participants sleep in special yurt tents onsite under the supervision of certified YMCA counselors
