Focus on: Sylvain Matte
Sylvain Matte is President of Coefficient Management in Montreal, heading management consultants and creativity brokers.
Fluent in both French and English, his background includes a degree in IT, an MBA, 14 years at Alcan, and almost 20 years as a consultant.
His areas of expertise include strategic planning, change management, organizational diagnostics and development, training and facilitation in creative problem solving and applied creativity. He has managed projects, provided consulting services, delivered training and facilitated sessions in Canada, the United States, Mexico, Brazil, Europe, Northern Africa and China.
He teaches graduate courses at both HEC Montréal and the University of Sherbrooke. He is a member of the Creative Education Foundation and a leader since 1993 at their Creative Problem Solving Institute conference where he was awarded their Distinguished Leader Award in 1999 and the Distinguished Service Award in 2005. He is vice-president of Créa-Québec, the association for the development of creativity. He is also a core member of the team that organizes the CREA Conference in Italy each year.
