How do I get to Cedar Glen?

Mindcamp will take place at the Cedar Glen Discovery Campus, approximately 37 kms N.W. of Toronto's 401/400 interchange and approximately 45 minutes from Toronto. Cedar Glen is between Bolton and Nobleton (see map).

Coming from Hwy 400 northbound, exit on King Rd. Turn west and drive approximately 11km to 11th Concession. This is about 3km west of Nobleton. Turn north and drive 1km until the YMCA Cedar Glen sign.

Coming from Pearson Airport, it's a 30 minute drive (about $30 by taxi). Take 427 north, turn west (left) on Hwy 7 and then north on Hwy 50 toward Bolton. Turn east on King Rd. and drive approximately 3km to the 11th Concession. Turn north and drive 1 km.

From Bolton take Hwy 50 north and turn east on King Rd. Drive approximately 3km to the 11th Concession. Turn north and drive 1 km.

What Should I Bring With Me?

Every day is "Casual Day" at Mindcamp. We encourage an atmosphere of comfortable informality so save your "business attire". We recommend comfortable, easily laundered apparel because you may be sitting on the floor or outside. We advise rain gear and a sweater or jacket. Early September weather is unpredictable: it could be cool (about 15 Celsius or mid-60s Fahrenheit), it could be a heat wave (25+ Celsius or 80+ Fahrenheit). Pack for everything.

• Comfortable, casual clothes; running shoes, jeans, sweaters, shorts, etc.
• An old blanket to use as a meditation cushion, picnic blanket, extra warmth at night, etc.
• Sunglasses, sunscreen
• Writing paper, pens, pencils
• A sense of humour
• Your ability to take risks
• Instruments, tap shoes, etc, to show/learn your talent
